A member who wishes to accept the nomination for any National Officer position listed above must indicate her or his acceptance in writing, delivered by one of the following methods: certified mail, return receipt requested; hand delivery; or facsimile, to:

Acceptances of nominations must be received during the nomination period, which ends at MIDNIGHT, AUGUST 12, 2010.
A member may NOT accept nomination for more than one National Officer position
A member may nominate any other member or members of his or her choice for any National Officer position listed above. To nominate another member, the member must send notification of the nomination in writing to the Election Committee during the nomination period, in the same manner as prescribed above for the acceptance of nominations. The nominator is required to notify the nominee so that the nominee will be aware of the obligation to accept the nomination as set forth above. Failure to provide such notice will not invalidate the nomination nor excuse the nominee’s obligation to accept within the period set forth above. Failure of a nominee to accept by the deadline shall be deemed a rejection of the nomination. Unopposed candidates shall be considered elected are any contested elections, without the necessity of an election. If there are any contested elections, elections for those National Offices will commence in October 2010. Each member will receive an official Notice of Election and a Mail Ballot along with instructions and the date by which the ballot must be returned. VII, § 1) 3 The Regional Vice-Presidents shall reside in and be elected by their respective regions (Local 2320 Bylaws, Art.
